Europeans and Worlds?

I’ve been back in Detroit for a week or so after finding out that I wouldn’t be competing at Nebelhorn Trophy (Sept 24-27). ¬†As can be expected, Mr. Callaghan and I are incredibly disappointed in the ISU’s decision in not allowing me to compete. However, I really felt as though the AZE federation was given enough time to make the paperwork right. So unfair, so sad. The good news is that we are still going to pursue the correct documents from AZE and will aim for Europeans and Worlds in 2010. I’m still skating, enjoying it and and have a desire to perform so that’s the good news! I will be traveling to Baku, Azerbaijan in the near future and am so incredibly excited about that. Expect my next blog post to be about my trip, hopefully! haha Fingers crossed.

I need to give a shout out to my friends scattered across the globe for being so supportive of me and helping me stay sane in this rough time. However, as much as I love this 40 degree Michigan weather, I miss the paradise that is Florida. hahaha

I’m very sorry to hear that you won’t be able to skate at the Olympics. Having followed your skating career from your first TV performance as a child to recent times when I was lucky enough to watch you compete live, I love your skating. You have an amazing presence on the ice. Best of luck for Europeans and Worlds.
